LSW/LAC SUPERVISION

Leisa has been certified through NASW to supervise LSWs and LACs seeking independent licensure. Supervision is based on individual needs, but it usually consists of case consultation, discussion of clinical topics, and sharing therapeutic resources. While working with me, clinicians will increase their ability to assess complex cases, develop strategies to deal with ethical dilemmas, identify transference and countertransference issues, and establish work/life balance and healthy self-care routines. Supervision is available at a reduced rate: individual supervision is $100 per hour, or group supervision (up to 4 people) is $75 per hour.

Independent

SUPERVISION FOR INDEPENDENTLY LICENSED PROFESSIONALS

Leisa Walker, LCSW, also provides supervision services for independently licensed professionals seeking to further their knowledge on issues related to child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and other areas of trauma. Educational Consultation

Leisa is also an educational researcher and practitioner in K-12 public school special education. She is a certified School Social Worker with experience developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs). She is skilled at public speaking, professional training, report writing, and strategic planning. She consults parents on reading individualized education plans and understanding special education services and supports. Additionally, Leisa collaborates with schools seeking to implement inclusive policies and practices.
